With the Stopray range, you enjoy the best of what the sun offers. These coated glasses ensure your interior is flooded with natural light while blocking out excess heat. They are always used in double or triple glazing, making them suitable for all climates since they control incoming heat in the summer and prevent indoor heat from escaping during the winter.

AGC’s solar protection coatings deliver excellent solar protection while being transparent and maintaining a neutral colour. The Stopray range is also available in heat-treatable versions, enabling maximum freedom for architectural design.

Stopray Ultraselect Range

Stopray Ultraselect is AGC’s premium range of solar control coatings, delivering the very best combination of solar protection and the highest level of natural light transmission. These triple-silver solar control coatings feature best-in-class selectivity and an attractive neutral appearance with low light reflection and excellent colour consistency regardless of the viewing angle.

Stopray Ultraselect coatings are ideal for fully glazed commercial facades, providing effective protection from overheating during the summer and delivering ideal comfort in winter. Accordingly, they help reduce the load on the air-conditioning system while delivering outstanding user comfort, both in terms of thermal insulation and natural light intake.

Stopray Ultraselect 50/23

Triple silver coating featuring outstanding selectivity (LT/SF = 2.2) thanks to a very low solar factor (23%) and high light transmission (50%). Stopray Ultraselect 50/23 combines an attractive and neutral appearance with low light reflection.

Stopray Neutral is AGC’s new generation of double-silver coatings, combining excellent performance with the highest level of neutrality and extremely low light reflection, in line with the latest trends in architectural and facade design. These coatings offer the very best neutral grey transparency, enhancing indoor user comfort by making optimal use of the natural light spectrum and delivering excellent thermal comfort.

The toughenable (T) versions of Stopray Neutral products can be perfectly combined in a facade alongside their non-toughened counterparts since they are identical in appearance and deliver the same visibility.

Stopray Neutral 50/27

The double silver coating combines outstanding neutral aesthetics, 50% light transmission, very low reﬂection and good solar protection (solar factor: 27%). It delivers excellent thermal insulation thanks to a Ug value of 1.0 W/(m².K).

Stopray Vision Range

Stopray Vision is AGC’s high-performance range of magnetron solar control coatings, delivering high solar protection and preventing unnecessary heat gain in modern, comfortable buildings. These coatings focus on achieving the best selectivity through the use of double-silver coatings and offer a very pleasant neutral-blue look, making them the ideal choice for the commercial segment.

The toughenable (T) versions of Stopray Vision products can be perfectly combined in a facade alongside their non-toughened counterparts since they are identical in appearance and deliver the same level of visibility.

Stopray Smart is AGC’s easy-to-process range of solar control coatings combining high flexibility in processing with elegant aesthetics and efficient solar control for commercial facades. Smart is an easy choice for both processors and architects as it can be used in toughened or non-toughened versions, does not require edge-deletion and has a long shelf life.

Stopray Smart is a single high-performance coating delivering the best balance between a high level of natural light and low level of heat throughput.

Stopray Smart 30/20

Smart 30/20 is a product that can be used in toughened or non-toughened versions, does not require edge-deletion and has a long shelf life. Featuring an attractive neutral bluish colour, this coated glass combines elegant aesthetics with superb solar control.

Stopray Applications

Another important use of glass in the building was as decoration in the elevators, where we used three different colours of AGC Matelac. Matelac glass has a matt finish, but it's still glass in terms of maintenance, durability and appearance. It’s exactly what we were looking for.
