For this new hospital in Knokke, inspired by the surrealistic work of René Magritte, the owner wanted a future-oriented concept that opens up optimal opportunities for sustainability, functionality and flexibility.

The new campus floats, so to speak, above the landscape and is dominated, even in the technical rooms, by light and nature.

The double-skin facade is made of 7000m² of Planibel Clearvision glass with Artlite silkscreen printed glass. The outer facade of the building is fitted with 1400m² of coloured glass lamellas (laminated Stratobel Colour and toughened glass).
