Our goal – ecologically and economically – was to insulate the house as much as possible, starting with insulating the roof and replacing the 30 windows with more insulating glazing.
When it came to information displays, I expected AGC to have strong expertise in glass and to provide excellent advice – but their solid collaboration was the cherry on top!
It was an interesting process to play with the interlayers and achieve the colour schemes the architect had in mind while also defining the building's character.
We studied all the details and worked closely with AGC on these glass solutions to ensure that all types of glazing used were perfectly harmonised to create a pleasing overall look.
For obvious design reasons we were always on the lookout for glass novelties, and this glass was so innovative with its blue tint that gave glass a new identity. For the famous designers we collaborate with it was a unique opportunity to try out this new material for furniture projects.
