Stratophone offers the same safety protection as Stratobel while delivering high-level acoustic insulation that absorbs sound and blocks out noise. How? The special acoustic PVB layer acts as a barrier that prevents noise from, say, a noisy outdoor environment, from passing through the window into a quiet office in the building. The higher the acoustic insulation rating of the glass, the greater the comfort for occupants – which in turn has a positive impact on health and well-being.

Noise reduction performance is measured by three different values: Rw, C and Ctr, as defined in standard EN 12758, and measured in decibels (dB) in compliance with standard EN ISO 10140-3, ranging from low frequency noise like low-speed traffic to higher frequency noise like children playing.
