AGC Glass Europe, European leader in the production of flat glass, once again confirms itself as a partner of excellence in the design world and contributes with its glass to the realization of the buildings of the eclectic Prada Foundation in Milan, a prestigious museum dedicated to the culture and contemporary art.

Designed as an experimental space in a former distillery of the early 1900s by the OMA studio and the Dutch Archistar Rem Koolhaas, Fondazione Prada with its 19,000 m² of exhibition space immediately established itself as one of the hubs and most interesting cultural campuses on the international scene.

AGC Glass Europe supplied the glass for the realization of the sculptural architecture of the buildings, ensuring a perfect dialogue between architecture and multiple forms of art thanks to the high performance of its products. The large windows of the Tower and of the Podium have been entirely made with Stopray Vision-60T on Clearvision, the new generation of glass combined with high selectivity of AGC that allows to significantly reduce the costs of lighting, air conditioning and energy thanks to the combination of natural light , solar control and thermal insulation.

This exceptional project, which cleverly combines design and contemporary art, once again establishes the role of AGC Glass Europe as an exceptional interlocutor for architecture, becoming the concrete testimony of the company's vocation to research, innovation and experimentation.
