GlassThicknessTool
2021-06-08
We’re pleased to announce that the AGC Glass Configurator has been upgraded with a brand-new feature: the Glass Thickness Calculator.
In-depth structural analyses

This advanced calculation tool is a linear solver that has been specially developed to perform structural analyses on facade glazing, roof glazing and interior glass partitions in accordance with EN 16612 and ASTM standards. Developed in collaboration with Maffeis Engineering (www.maffeis.it) – a firm specialising in facade and structural engineering – the Glass Thickness Calculator can be used to calculate rectangular shapes with all relevant loads and with four load combination methods. The new tool is available only in our popular AGC Glass Configurator.

Fast, easy and fun

Checking glazing resistance has never been easier, while stress and deflection can be calculated in mere minutes. Just like all the other features in our online Glass Configurator, you can download reports of your calculations and save and compare multiple results.
