Enhanced thermal insulation with a Warm E spacer
The overall thermal performance of a window (characterised by its UW value) depends not only on the thermal insulation obtained thanks to the glazing (UG), but also on the frame (UF) and performance of the spacers (ᴪ) used in the edge of the insulating glass.
On request, the conventional metal spacers made of aluminium or steel can be replaced by warm-edge-type spacers (which may be reinforced by a metallic structure in some cases).
In its warm-edge version, Thermobel uses special spacers, whose design and materials disrupt the thermal bridge and therefore improve the thermal insulation of the window, decrease condensation risks at the edge of the glazing and ensure more uniform temperatures across the entire glazing.
Warm Edge is available on request for all Thermobel products(except Level 1 products: Thermobel Pyrobel/Pyrobelite/Pyropane).
