Caractéristiques

À première vue, ce verre ressemble à un verre ordinaire. Or, il est tout sauf ordinaire. Conçu pour offrir un niveau élevé de protection des personnes et des biens, cette nouvelle gamme de verres résiste aux agressions physiques commises lors de vols, aux attaques à main armée et aux explosions. Grâce à l’utilisation d’un plastique transparent plus résistant et grâce à une structure d’assemblage plus complexe (multiples couches épaisses de verre et d’intercalaires PVB) que les verres ordinaires de la gamme Stratobel, ces vitrages offrent une protection maximale. Ils conviennent donc pour les bâtiments sensibles comme les banques, les commerces de détail, les prisons et autres.


Applications

Comme ces vitrages sont souvent lourds et épais, nous avons développé deux versions présentant des structures plus fines et plus légères, tout en offrant le même niveau de performance : les verres Stratobel Security Thin, soumis à une trempe chimique et les verres Stratobel Security XThin PC, des verres feuilletés intégrant des feuilles de polycarbonate. Utilisés en vitrage isolant (Thermobel Stratobel Security), ils permettent d’obtenir un double vitrage plus fin et plus léger.

Tolerances:
The data are calculated using spectral measurements that are conform to standards EN 410 (1998).
The tolerance of published data with respect to photometric properties is +/- 3 points.
The U-value (formerly k-value) is calculated according to standard EN 673.
The emissivity measurement complies with standards EN 673 (Annex A) and EN 12898. The U-value tolerance is +/- 0.1W/(m²K).
This information is no evaluation of the risk of glass breakage due to thermal stress.
