AGC has once again proven itself the ideal partner for prestige projects – this time round for the Beauty Hub, L'Oreal Italia's recently inaugurated Milan headquarters, where the focus is on quality of life and a work environment that combines design, functionality and top-tier sustainability.

The new state-of-the-art building overlooks the city, spanning nine floors with a total surface area of 13,000 m². Two large terraces, located on the fourth and eighth floors, offer breathtaking panoramic views of the urban skyline, further enhancing the overall quality of the spaces.
The project impresses for the sheet amount of glazing deployed: 8,000 m² of high-performance Stopray Vision 62/33 and iplus 1.0T.

The fully glazed, full-height curtain wall facades are made of laminated safety glass, designed specifically to protect occupants from falls. Stopray Vision 62/33 combines thermal and acoustic insulation with excellent transparency, delivering maximum comfort and a superb view of the surrounding urban area. Stopray Vision 62/33’s double silver coating features excellent selectivity and boasts a solar factor of 33%, ensuring effective protection from heat and solar radiation. With a Ug coefficient of just 1.0, iplus 1.0T not only provides excellent protection against low temperatures, but also has a positive impact on the building’s environment and energy balance, all while saving on heating costs. iplus 1.0T is AGC's first low-emissivity coating to also deliver safety functionality thanks to the hardening treatment it undergoes.

L'Oréal Italia’s new Beauty Hub combines innovation, well-being and environmental awareness, wrapped up in a strong identity and topped off with an unmistakable Italian flair. The interior space – designed by Milan-based studio Lombardini22 – was designed specifically for a hybrid work model where employees do not have a fixed workspace, but instead enjoy the flexibility to freely decide, during the course of the day, which space suits them best for the work they have to do.

These key benefits have been acknowledged by highly reputed LEED Platinum and WELL certifications, ensuring that the Group’s new headquarters fully align with the sustainability commitments set out in its L'Oréal for the Future programme.
In addition to its sustainability credentials, the Beauty Hub has also been awarded WiredScore Platinum certification, a programme which recognises and certifies best-in-class digitally connected buildings worldwide.
