ipasol - Top class solar control glazing
Form and functionality come together in the right combination in ipasol. Renowned for its very low light reflection, ipasol is the largest range of solar control glass in terms of neutral colours, light transmission and solar protection.
Particularly well-suited for office buildings, Interpane’s range of soft coatings (type C following EN 1096-1) meets the seemingly irreconcilable requirements on modern architectural glazing by combining great neutral aesthetics and top light and energy performances.
The ipasol range is the last soft coating range still available in tempered cut sizes. As a result, architects are free to create complex shapes in very large sizes (longer than 6 m) and intricate and tailor-made designs and serigrafy.
Simply put, they can now fulfil their dreams.
- Delivers the highest level of selectivity (1.89) -- ratio between light transmission (70%) and solar protection (37%).
- Lowers air-conditioning and heating costs, while offering the highest level of natural lighting.
- Offers very low thermal insulation (Ug value 1.1 or 1.0 W m² K).
Mainly used in facades in tertiary and office buildings. In some rare cases, it may be suited for windows in high-end residential buildings.

The data are calculated using spectral measurements that are conform to standards EN 410 (1998).
The tolerance of published data with respect to photometric properties is +/- 3 points.
The U-value (formerly k-value) is calculated according to standard EN 673.
The emissivity measurement complies with standards EN 673 (Annex A) and EN 12898. The U-value tolerance is +/- 0.1W/(m²K).
